There are two things about myself that are the two purposes of this Wiki:

  1. I am a Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) - Voice (#23890). I come across a lot of technical challenges or designs that require specific resolution. I have been storing the resolutions in email and referenced those resolutions when necessary. The problem with this method is I assumed that all of my resolutions were in email to find they were not and I would have to research that resolution all over again. Another problem is usually the links referenced in my emails or information is out of date and it is difficult to update those resolutions. This section of the Wiki will be noted simply as Cisco and will contain my (and hopefully yours) resolutions to those challenges or designs.
  2. I am an Apple fanboy and utilize a Mac. In 2006 I dumped Windows and moved to an Apple MacBook Pro and since have converted my whole household to Apple based products (Macbook Pro, Macbook Air, AppleTV, Airport Extreme, iPhone, etc.). This transition wasn't easy and as a CCIE Voice and Cisco's migration to Linux based appliances the Mac has actually been a better companion for completing my work. This section of the Wiki will be noted simply as Mac OS X as I notice a lot of people in the field I work in migrating to Mac OS X and intend to provide information on the tools I utilize (commonly built into the OS or open source) to perform those functions.
